Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts developed for possible publication in HSR should be submitted via the Manuscript Central Web site: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/hsr.

Copyright and Prior Publication

Please also review the Common Statement on Prior Publication Policy. NOTE: We expect authors to disclose any prior dissemination including via a Web site or at national meetings. Many types of dissemination venues will not preclude our consideration of the manuscript.

If your article has been accepted for publication in HSR, please download, print and fill out a Copyright Assignment Form.

Disclosure Policy

Beginning in 2007, HSR instituted a policy on disclosure of information about conflicts of interest, pre-review requirements by funders or employers, and authorship and contributorship. While not required at the time of initial submission, authors invited to revise and resubmit will be required to begin these disclosures, and these must be completed before accepted manuscripts can be sent to the publisher. See our editorial about the policy for further information.

The corresponding author is required to provide information on the Authorship and Disclosure Form. The form is required at the time a manuscript has been issued an invitation to be revised and resubmitted. Download PDF version for using navigable tabs.
